Roman Holiday (1953)

I had a reason to watch this, but got disappointed. [DROPPED movie]
Today, you chose to learn about William Wyler's movie, starring Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck. While I never heard of the male lead, the female lead's name will never be forgotten. No, I never saw any of her movies. But I watched this anime called Rec... Audrey was all the main character talked about.
I have both high hopes and no hopes at the same time.

Roman Holiday (1953)
ROMANCE IN ROMANTIC ROME!

I am going to admit it right here, right now so you won't waste your time. I did not finish this movie. I dropped it halfway, gave it a second chance and then dropped it again.
Maybe I will finish it one day, but for some reason, it really didn't leave a good impression.
I fount Hepburn more a pretty face than actress, and the movies was too slow for me. While it had funny moments, I was waiting for the real fun.
I skipped to the end, and I liked it, because we all knew it would end like that.
But second half of the movie is unexplored.

Let's look at what I did see from it:

Loved the sarcasm. Like I said, I enjoyed some of the lines and I wish my English (or native language) were this sophisticated. That kind of language doesn't "exist" anymore, people have their slang and they find that funny.
Can't tell you how many people in my close circle use memes as serious way of communicating. Oh how I hate it.

I really did think at first that Ann was a mood. But she fell flat for me pretty quickly and I could not find a way to like neither Ann or Audrey.

This man is a treasure. I lost it when I heard him do that.

I think this is the scene that made me want to watch this movie. It was pretty funny. A weak joke, but it worked.

My friend M. when she doesn't sleep, drinks only coffee and forgets to eat. She is not taking care of herself and then makes it seem like she is bothering us by not feeling well.
This is your random reminder to stay healthy, hydrated and have a snack!

Again, a brilliant line...

...followed by an incredible comeback. Love it for him.

[Me @ my mother when I finally grow the balls to stop letting her ruin my self-esteem.]

Another great line. I do not get it, in a sense that I am not familiar with the lane as a slang, or a offense, but I thought it was pretty funny.

The last picture is a close up on the handsome Gregory Peck:

And this is where I dropped the movie, bored of my mind.

Giving it a second change I made these screenshots:

[These two men are treasures]

As for a star rating, I don't think it is fair to actually rate it, since I didn't finish. For that reason:
